  4. Absolutely. The best evidence is in the Reconciliation work (I forget exactly what it was called). Winning the peace is often the hardest, and always the most important, part of any armed conflict.

  6. He is an advocate for equality who has learned from the past by not dwelling on it for the good of his country.

    So he is kind of an advocate for peace but it took long time to get there.

  7. Didn’t he kill a bunch of his own people? Years ago, I’d heard that he advocated "necklacing", where a tire filled with gas was put around a persons neck & lit on fire. I guess anything disappears if you put enough time behind it…memories fade…people conveniently forget what was done. Since much of our history books have been re-written, fairly soon, even the Nazis will sound like saints. <*)))><
