How would you react to someone claiming that Nelson Mandela was a ruthless terrorist and a murderer?
Today he is the man of the (last) millenium and a peace broker and international hero. Everybody says that his imprisonment was political. Did you know that it has been alleged that during the Truth and Reconciliation Comission’s inquiery, he admitted to giving the go-ahead for the Church Street Bombing and other terrorist acts? Did you know that the government offered to release him on the condition that renounced public violence (which he refused to do)?
Nelson Mandela is one of the greatest leaders the World has ever had. Apartheid was wrong and had to be stopped. Nelson Mandela did not seek revenge when he took power. Instead he sought to reconcile his country to the past wrongs and move forward. As a result of his wise and super human leadership, the World has an example to follow whenever the feelings for revenge rear their ugly head. God bless Nelson Mandela!
