Invisible Children: Who We Are
A discerning general outlook of a work of Invisible Children, Inc. over a final dual years. We were awarded a congressional endowment for a documentary as well as grassroots movement. Since a documentary Invisible Children: Rough Cut was released, a predicament of young kids in northern Uganda has turn some-more visible. www.invisiblechildren.com www.ccainstitute.org/angels.php

Invisible Children came to my school. I’m not like other people that watch this and 4get about it. I saw the emmy video. I cried and laughed. I want to Join but I want to finish school. The emmy video really opened my eyes. I asked for things for christmas from the website. They changed me. People should open there eyes and see whats happening.<3

Despite what you may think, your comment doesn’t make you look intelligent.
Most people watch this, leave a stupid comment, then forget about it because they realize that there’s nothing they’re going to do about it.
I sometimes think these things are just an excuse for more hypocrisy to those who watch it.
I’m guessing your a pure bread redneck? where your moma’s your sister and your daddy’s your uncle… no one said they were coming to live in North America, its global awareness of how bad life can really get in other countries.. and how fat cats like you ..should remember that if we all work together t help make the world a safer and more sustainable place to live then everyone wins..
they are lower wake up u idiots they are lower primitive idiots fuck them let them die its their problem if we brought them here all that would happen is crime and aids to a higher extent. I would rather keep my money than waste it on them
@1wsufan wow you are so fucking ignorant, that is a totally different world than over here, our problems are nowhere near theirs…we’re in a recession and we can afford gas prices big fuckin whoop, the people over there are thankful just to be alive tomorrow, we wouldnt be able to live a day in their world
please everyone just think about this!
yes you are right; this problem does only affect africa, but to make this world a better place we need to halp whereever we can!
in uganda young children are being abducted and trained to kill…and to die.
if you were one of those children would you want help?
don’t lie…help
Wonderful
mel.
no offense but Africa would have been better off if America and the rest of the West stayed out in the first place.
True, the US has tons of problems themselves,
but as long as YOU personally don’t do anything about it
you have no right to look down on people who fight for a better world!
First off become proficient in the English language. Exactly Africa has been fight their “own war”. During the Civil War would you want an African country to come over and try to “help us” NO!
@1wsufan please explain how we are being scammed?
Invisible Children is an incredible organization – not a scam. I’m a high school teacher and was part of their summer ’09 Teacher Exchange program. I was in Uganda most of last summer and got to see the work that IC is doing firsthand. Here, they’re media and advocacy based, but in Uganda they’re doing amazing things with micro-finance, womens’ empowerment, and education. We are citizens of the world, and we need to take action for people being oppressed, whether here or abroad.
This is like the opposite of the Holocaust, this shit is real.
1wsufan how can you be so freaking selfish we are talking about other human beans and Africa has been fighting in there own war to stop what is going on….
does anyone know the date that they are going to have the global night commute for 2010???
do we really want Uganda to be a higher priority? I’m pretty sure that we as Americans have plenty of our own problems to deal with right now. let Africa deal with their own problems.
